First Aid at Work HSE Approved Certificate

This course and its qualification are required for anyone responsible for assessing and dealing with accidents or emergencies within the workplace.

Do I need a qualified First Aider at my work?
The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to enable first aid to be given to employees if they are injured or become ill at work. These regulations apply to all workplaces including those with five or fewer employees and to the self-employed.



Who should take this qualification?
Employers must carry out a risk assessment to determine whether a qualified First Aider is required in their workplace, and if so, how many.

Assessment: Practical assessment.
